The Question as a Support for Situated Critical Thinking

Abstract
The starting point is the need to situate thought, a localization that accounts for the particularly critical singularity of Latin American reality, in order to attain forms of knowledge appropriate for solving the problems posed by the contingency of the current globalized world.
It is understood that processes of inquiry are generated through the visualization of situations of deficiency, with the distinctive features that questioning adopts in science and philosophy. This questioning is possible from a creative attitude—insofar as it entails openness to diversity—supporting the possibility of critical thinking capable of producing new, high-quality ideas.
