Perspectives on Scientific Knowledge: Between Heidegger and the Philosophers of Instrumental Rationality
Main Article Content
Abstract
The identification, without relevant distinctions, between the Heideggerian conception of science and Adorno and Horkheimer’s theorization of a certain scientific practice, constitutive of instrumental rationality, has become a constant. For this reason, this paper will address a series of questions concerning scientific knowledge, treated in both theoretical corpora, in order to show the profound divergences between the two views of science.
