Abstract

The objective of this study is to assess the health of tertiary-level adults in the Quebrada de Humahuaca, province of Jujuy. A cross-sectional analytical design and accidental non-probability sampling were used between 1994 and 1995.


Neurological clinical histories and epidemiological data were consulted. The Goldberg Anxiety and Depression Scale and the Beck Inventory, a questionnaire used to assess the degree of depression, were also applied. Serology included cholinesterase testing.
