COMPARATIVE STUDY ABOUT CERAMICS AND FAUNA FROM TWO ENCLOSURES OF LA HUERTA ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE, QUEBRADA DE HUMAHUACA, JUJUY

This paper presents the preliminary results obtained from the analysis of archaeological remains recovered from the enclosures 204 and 353, located in the inka occupation sector A of La Huerta archaeological site, Quebrada de Humahuaca, Jujuy. It will be analyzed Ceramic and zooarchaeological samples and also the spatial distribution of these for later comparison between them. This study wants to achieve an idea about the role played by these enclosures and get a complete knowledge about the activities that may have been carried out in each of them at the time they were occupied. It also takes into consideration other lines of archaeological evidence to reinforce the observations, for example architecture. Finally, we integrate the information of each enclosure and compare them to obtain a better idea about past activities.
