Ideology and utopia, two axes for thinking about the contemporary world
Main Article Content
Abstract
Today virtual reality, among other things, appears as one of the pathological forms of utopia, which in turn reinforces the weight of the anomalous forms of ideology. Some examples of the culture of Tucumán offer a clear testimony of the influence of the ideological factor in the constitution of the social imaginary. Even though democracies require the ideological in order to constitute themselves, they also need to be seduced by difference so as to avoid the ethical consequences brought about by uncritical adherence to a crystallized past.
