Abstract
Faced with the rapid changes in society, science, technology, mass media, work instability, family breakdowns, and the growth of school, family, and social violence, among others, these issues are analyzed in teacher training within the context of teaching and learning in the curricular area of Ethics and Citizenship Education. The present work seeks to present the advances of a research project on: “How do teachers at the initial level and in the first and second cycles of E.G.B. teach in the area of Ethics and Citizenship Education in rural schools in the department of Cerrillos?”
