Legislation on the Protection and Conservation of Cultural Heritage in the Province of Jujuy

Abstract
The province of Jujuy must have a law for the protection and conservation of cultural heritage. There are several isolated bills and sectoral and/or partial laws concerning specific cultural aspects, such as Law 5122 on the preservation, promotion, and development of Jujuy handicrafts, Law 3866, and municipal ordinances. Unfortunately, however, none of them have been regulated by the corresponding Executive Branch, which makes their full enforcement impossible. In any case, knowledge of these laws is a fundamental step toward achieving the objectives they pursue.
