Philosophy in the Federal Education Law: Proposals for the Region
Main Article Content
Abstract
In the present work, we address the insertion of Philosophy in the Federal Education Law.
We consider objectives and levels: common basic contents of E.G.B., common basic contents of polimodal education, the common core of polimodal education, and its branches.
Having established the place of philosophy in the Federal Education Law, we carry out a critical analysis of what we think happens in practice with Philosophy in the implementation of the Law, since we see that there is no coherence between what the Law formally expresses and the documents of the Ministry of Education of the Nation, and what the regional educational policies are implementing. Finally, in the conclusions, we present our proposal to reverse what has so far been shown as “the forgetting of philosophy.”
